We focus not only on the evidence based data that help debunk these myths, but also when and how this misinformation starts. Tune into this episode to hear us challenge the following: 

  1. You need meat to survive.
  2. You need to drink milk for strong bones. 
  3. You can’t get enough protein from just plants.
  4. You need to protein combine.
  5. Plant-based eaters are iron deificient. 
  6. Plant-based diets are nutrient deficient since there is no vitamin B12.
  7. If you go plant-based you automatically will have good health.
  8. A plant-based diet is not safe for kids.
  9. Eating soy increases your risk of cancer.
  10. There aren’t many plant-based food options.
