The Plant Centered and Thriving Podcast

Food intolerance dietitian, Nicole Evangelista, discusses the powerful connection between our brains and our gut

Ashley Kitchens: Plant-Based Registered Dietitian and Virtual Nutrition Mentor Season 1 Episode 72

"It is impossible to maintain this "A+" narrow view of what health is."

This episode is going to totally change the way you think about your relationship with food FOREVER

Today we discuss the gut-brain connection and the huge effect it might be having on the foods you think you can and can't eat. We discuss the differences between food intolerance and allergies, how she really feels about at home allergy tests and ways you can start to  reintroduce foods your doctor told you to avoid.

Nicole is a recovered health-perfectionist and has left behind over a decade of severe food intolerance. She is now an Integrative and Functional Nutrition trained Dietitian helping people experiencing food intolerance, using brain-based nutrition to expand what they can eat.
